An Exclusive Interview: TonyJ712 Becomes Crown Prince of the Holy Roman Empire

Following the retirement of Crown Prince TurboTechHD, the Holy Roman Empire (HRE) has a new heir to the throne—TonyJ712. Stepping into this prestigious role, TonyJ712 now carries the responsibility of leading and strengthening the empire in these turbulent times.
To gain insight into his thoughts and vision, we conducted an exclusive interview with the new Crown Prince. Here’s what he had to say:
A New Beginning
When asked about how he feels about his promotion, TonyJ712 shared that he had known about it for a few days before the official announcement. He reflected on his journey, noting how surreal it was to rise from Archduke to Crown Prince within a year.
“It’s just insane to realize that almost one year ago I was promoted to Archduke, and now I have reached the final step.”
Addressing the HRE’s Current Challenges
The HRE has been going through a difficult phase, struggling with internal and external issues. TonyJ712 acknowledged these concerns and emphasized his commitment to working closely with Staff and Architects to bring about meaningful reforms.
“I already have a few ideas on what reforms I am going to implement,” he stated, expressing his eagerness to lead the HRE toward stability.
His Priorities as Crown Prince
Leadership restructuring seems to be one of his first areas of focus. TonyJ712 believes that having strong and effective leadership is crucial before any further reforms can be introduced.
“One of the first things I have to do is implement changes in HRE HICOM and Knighthood, as I believe it is really important to have strong leadership before we move forward with other things.”
Tackling “Kingdom Sniping”
One of the biggest challenges facing the HRE has been the issue of “Kingdom sniping,” where members are poached by a rival, the Kingdom of France (KoF).
TonyJ712 suggested that a universal rule enforcement system could help prevent this issue from being exploited.
“Some rules should apply universally, not just in KoF or HRE. We could enforce global punishments to prevent people from abusing the system, though it depends on specific rules.”
Assessing the Performance of HRE Duchies
When asked about the Duchies and their leaders, he acknowledged that while Dukes may not always be performing at their best, they do have the welfare of their people at heart.
“Each Duke wants the best for their duchy. While it’s true that some may not be doing enough at times, I also understand that motivation to do the job is really low, and that’s something we need to work on.”
The Knighthood’s Efforts
The Knighthood plays a significant role in the HRE, and TonyJ712 appreciates the effort and dedication of its members.
“Some people put in more effort than others, and I really appreciate that. But I am grateful for every member we have. Even if they only do what is required of them, they still contribute to the well-being of our community.”
Crown Wars: Who Does He Support?
To end the interview, we asked the classic question—which Duchy does he support for the next Crown Wars?
“That’s a tough question. I don’t really want to pick a side, but if I had to, I’d wish the win to either Bavaria or Luxembourg.”
