A Farewell to the HRE Project

A chapter closes.

Boltable Studios, the heart behind the Holy Roman Empire Project, is moving on. What began as a dream—of building a vibrant, living world where knights rose, scholars thrived, and stories unfolded—became something far greater than any one of us imagined. A community. A family. A home.

Now, the time has come for Boltable to hand over the reins. It’s a bittersweet moment. The castle still stands, but those who built it from stone and spirit now walk a different path. And for many of us who followed, believed, and grew under its banners, we too prepare to journey onward—to new lands, new stories.

To Boltable Studios: Thank you. For the vision. For the work. For the memories.

To everyone who laughed, created, fought, judged, wrote, and stood beside us in the HRE: You made this place feel real. And you made it hard to say goodbye.

But goodbyes don’t mean endings.

A Chapter Closes for DoERM

With Boltable’s departure, the Department of Empire Roleplay Media (DoERM) — affiliated through a third party — will also be moving on. As a team, we will be transitioning to a new and exciting project, where we will continue to tell stories, build worlds, and capture history in motion.

Though we may be leaving HRE behind, our spirit, creativity, and camaraderie will live on in the next endeavor. We’re not disappearing — just turning the page.
